ABOUT

Bank View is a first floor self catering ‘holiday  cottage’ apartment, with all accommodation accessed by the ground floor hall and grand Victorian staircase. Bank View benefits from full central heating throughout the property. All heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the tariff – no hidden extras! Bank View is a no-smoking property, and one well- behaved pet dog is welcome free of charge.  Off-road parking for one car is offered in front of the wrought iron gates, with free on-street parking available outside Bank View. Free public off-road parking, shops, pubs and other amenities are just two minutes’ walk away.

Upstairs

Master bedroom with super king-size double bed. Twin bedroom with two single beds. Bunk bedroom with hand-made traditional pine adult sized bunk bed, with a single adult bed on top and a double bed underneath. Luxury tiled bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Farmhouse kitchen and dining room with electric oven and hob, microwave, freezer, fridge, iron and ironing board, and clothes washer/dryer. Living room with 50″ flat screen TV, DVD and comfortable seating for seven people.

Downstairs

Ground floor entrance hall. An enclosed garden with garden furniture and barbeque is accessed via the wrought iron gates.

  • Splitting the Master bedroom double bed into two separate beds
  • Travel cot and highchair

A really lovely week, good centre to explore from. Beautiful flat with a first class bathroom, comfortable beds, warm and cosy place to return to and well appointed with very pleasant decoration. Lovely red carpet on the stairs.
Very relaxing, comfortable apartment. Love the high ceilings and light airy décor. Enjoyed looking at the interesting artwork, we did have reasonable weather for February.
Lovely spacious apartment. Beautiful view from kitchen window. A nice walk around Duns. Glentress was great for mountain biking, Edinburgh Zoo was great. Gorgeous day on the beach at Bamburgh. Good golf course at Duns. Floors Castle is also well worth the visit. Lovely fish and chips at Seahouses. All in all a lovely holiday.
A nice spacious apartment which met our needs for 4 children and 2 adults. Ideal location for local shops and travelling to and from Edinburgh, 50 minutes away. A must beach is Bamburgh, lovely golden sands. Also, a nice beach at Scremerston. Thanks.
We’ve had a relaxing break in this lovely apartment. Village is very well equipped-supermarket, newsagent, butchers, pubs and chip shop.Bamburgh castle and beach and Edinburgh Zoo are worth a visit. The children have enjoyed exploring rock pools at Eyemouth and St Abbs Head was wonderful.
Lovely apartment, clean and had everything we needed. Nice village and everyone pleasant. Able to get around in car no problem. Had a fantastic break and would come back again.
Lovely cottage, beautiful large windows, stunning place. It fits 6 very comfortably. I would highly recommend Coldingham Bay-it is beautiful.

Duns was interesting and Edinburgh Castle was great. Lucky with the weather, beaches were very nice. The local shops were great. We found the people of Scotland lovely and friendly. Walked our Labrador to death, great for bringing the dog here. The kitchen is well equipped and the flat is very spacious, warm and comfortable. Thanks!
