Chirnside Holiday Cottages

About

Bank View and The Coach House are above all convenient for a great holiday stay in the Historic Border country of North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Key attractions include the Jim Clark Rally in late May, the Common Riding Festivals in the summer, the magnificent Northumberland coast including Lindisfarne, Holy Island and Bamburgh, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and historic Edinburgh.

The Coach House at Newtonlea is a beautifully appointed, semi-detached late 19th Century former coach house, situated in the grounds of Newtonlea. Sympathetically converted to a particularly high standard, this property offers cosy accommodation for 2 people. Full of charm, the Coach House has internet access and a small seating area outside.

Bank View is a magnificent Victorian property, with grand proportions, period features, and views over countryside towards the Cheviot Hills. It was built on grounds originally belonging to Newtonlea which were sold off at some time in the property’s history – and which have now been re-incorporated into Newtonlea’s policies. This stone built detached upper Victorian villa has an enclosed garden and can comfortably accommodate 7 people.

The Coach House and Bank View can be booked together if required, providing high quality accommodation for up to 9 people. Change-over day is normally Fridays.

An additional person can be accommodated in either property for additional cost, please ask for details.
